Canada Customs E-Manifesting Services

Beginning June 1st, 2021, Canada Customs require CBSA ACCEPTED E-Manifest on all consolidated shipments entering Canada by air, truck, rail, and marine modes of transportation before shipments' arrival. Failure to send full pre-alert and e-manifest information within the below time frames could result in monetary penalties. Proline Logistics services is a local and international freight forwarder, fully authorized freight forwarder by CBSA. Authorized Freight forwarders must electronically transmit advance house bill data on consolidated freights to CBSA.

Failure to file e-manifest data to the customs within the below time frames could result in monetary penalties on the importers' accounts:

  • Marine: 24 hours before container loads on the vessel.

  • Air: A minimum of four hours prior to arrival in Canada or at the time of departure if the flight is less than four hours in duration.

  • Road/ truck freights: A minimum of one hour before the shipment arrives at the border.

  • Rail: A minimum of two hours before the conveyance arrives at the border.
